Yes, Weekend of Awakening is free!

          Weekend of Awakening is available free-of-charge to congregations in all 50 states on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Requests from mission churches or those who could not afford such a workshop are especially encouraged to contact us.          

          The Lord has blessed my family with a business that provides our financial needs.  Even my travel and expenses are taken care of through a special fund set up by fellow Christians.  This allows me to go to congregations that may not be able to afford a weekend workshop or seminar.  

          Some of my brethren have said, "You need to charge at least something for the workshop.  If you don't charge anything, the churches will take the weekend for granted and not really appreciate what has been done for them."  But as a fine group of church shepherds commented to me from II Corinthians 11:7, "Paul preached the gospel free of charge."  Even our salvation, according to Ephesians 2:8, is "the free gift of God."

          I certainly have no objection to financially supporting individuals who preach and teach, but at this time in my life, I do not require that assistance.  So, with Paul and the Lord, I'll just take the risk of not being appreciated by offering something for "free."   

What is the church’s responsibility?

          The only requirement for the hosting church is to provide transportation to and from the airport, motel and church building. 

          Yes, the workshop is absolutely free to hosting congregations – no speaker’s fee – no travel or motel expenses. By God’s grace, this ministry remains free to churches that desire to take advantage of it!

Personal Invitation

          I will be happy to send personal invitations concerning the workshop to area churches.  The hosting church is responsible for providing a correct listing of churches and addresses.
